U.S. and Britain Sending Troops to Combat Ebola in West Africa
I read an article about Ebola, as you may have guessed. It is fatal in 50-80% of the people who get it. It has become a big problem in West Africa. This disease was discovered in March of 2014, and it has already infected and killed over 2,000 people. Ebola is a sickness that interferes with blood's ability to clot, and has effected many people. Long before we had new doctors, and new medicines, there was usually 1 doctor for 100,000 patients. Now, there are about 250 doctors for 100,000 patients. Things have definitely changed and improved since then. President Barack Obama has said that he would help troops and prevent Ebola from spreading to any more parts of the world.
I think that it is good that something is being done about this and people are being taken care of. I am glad people are addressing the disease rather than ignore it. It's good that people are being helped. It is probably a very devastating thing to have to watch a family member or friend go through this, or them to watch you. I know this is a very serious problem.
I like your post but what if it gets to the U.S.A and you have to watch one of your family members die.
